Winter update for Warface: Clutch brings new season and changes
12/05/2023 - MY GAMES today announces a winter update for its tactical shooter Warface: Clutch. This update also completes the previously announced renaming on all platforms. The update introduces the Northern Lights season, which includes new weapons, a renewed Battle Pass (available completely free of charge) and new PvE, PvP and Prestige seasons.
One new feature this season is that the Battle Pass can be purchased for in-game currency and no longer needs to be bought. This is one of the changes to the game's monetization that has already been announced along with the new name. Players will be able to purchase winter-themed weapons to fully customize their arsenal.
On December 13, Winterfest will begin, which includes a limited-time mode, map and event. In King of the Hill, players will attempt to claim the crown as the true King of Winter on a winter-themed version of the player-favorite Trailer Park map. Playing this map and mode rewards players with Black Market Coins that can be used to purchase limited-time weapons, cosmetics, badges and more. Players can also earn Black Market Coins by playing certain PvE Spec-Op missions.
In addition, the quality of play has been improved in the PvE missions, which now offer cumulative rewards. Completing the mission on the highest difficulty level will also reward you with the lower level rewards, meaning you waste less time doing things you've already completed. The difficulty levels of three missions have also been revised.
