XD Games from Shanghai has a special gift for RPG fans this holiday season: the latest season of "Torchlight: Infinite" entitled "Twinightmare". Launching on December 28, the season brings a wealth of new features, including challenges, quality improvements and limited festive events.

Rosa: The New Heroine

The main attraction of the season is Rosa, the tenth playable heroine in Torchlight: Infinite. Available as part of the Twinightmare Season Pass, Rosa is characterized by high defensive abilities, making her a resilient hunter. With her "Holy Domain" ability, Rosa transforms into an unstoppable chariot that races through hordes of enemies and curses them with a powerful curse.

New abilities and challenges

The season also brings four new abilities for the heroes: Whirlwind Blade, Lightning Beam, Star Stalker and Harmonious Field. These allow players to customize their hunters with new, powerful builds.

An adventure in the realm of dreams

In "Twinightmare", players are whisked away to the realm of dreams, where they can interact with Dream Lotuses and trigger Good Dreams. These trigger Dream Monsters, which leave behind valuable rewards. But caution is advised: The more loot collected in a Good Dream, the more challenging the subsequent Nightmare attack will be.

Optimizations and quality improvements

XD Games continues to improve the core gameplay of "Torchlight: Infinite" with optimizations and changes to increase game quality. These are aimed at both new and experienced players and include an overhaul of the help manual, an improved loot experience and simplified ways to share character builds with other players.

Winter Festival and Spring Festival

In addition to the new season, XD Games will be hosting a Winter Festival in the Torchlight Hideout, which will be covered in ice and snow. During the event, players can collect exclusive drops such as snowflakes and exchange them for rewards. The following Spring Festival, which coincides with the Chinese New Year, offers limited-time tasks and rewards, including a new "Dancing Red Dragon" outfit.
