Debut trailer of Archeage 2 released

11/21/2022 - Kakao Games and XLGAMES are pleased to share a first look at the highly anticipated MMO sequel, ArcheAge 2. At this year's G-Star Global Game Exhibition in Busan, South Korea, visitors were shown a beautiful trailer that introduces the next chapter in the ArcheAge saga, soon to be released for PC and consoles.

This exciting first look at the sequel captures what fans love about the popular MMO and features a bold new adventure where players rediscover Auroria. This vast continent has been redesigned for a new generation of ArcheAge players. Whether on land, sea or air, you'll battle enemies new and old as you attempt to settle into these untamed lands. ArcheAge veterans will discover many allusions to the original game.

Following the success of ArcheAge, which will be re-released in 2019 under the name ArcheAge: Unchained, the team at XLGAMES has promised an ambitious sequel, which is expected to be released in 2024. ArcheAge 2 will evolve the immersive, player-driven sandbox experience that fans have enjoyed for nearly a decade and expand on it with an exciting new story.

The sequel is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and promises action-packed combat brought to life with AAA graphics. In addition to the combat, XLGAMES is also expanding features that are popular with fans, as CEO Jake Song explains:

"In ArcheAge 2, we want to improve the trading system so that players can trade either solo, in teams, or in raids."

"Another popular feature of ArcheAge 1 was the housing function. We plan to improve it by adding more customization and allowing players to live in cities with their friends and even create their own cities with their guild members."
