Gaijin announces closed beta
06/30/2022 - Gaijin inCubator and Three Whales Studio announced today that the closed beta test of Age of Water, the upcoming adventure MMO set on a post-apocalyptic Earth completely covered in water, will begin this summer.
Anyone can apply for the beta on the official website, but the number of test participants is limited. Those who are selected for the CBT will receive an email with a link to download the game and other necessary information. In Age of Water, people live on the roofs of skyscrapers and on other man-made or natural objects that have become islands in the boundless ocean. Players can freely move around the open world in a motorboat or a small ship, recruit new crew members, upgrade equipment and weapons, fight or trade, complete quests, and uncover the secrets of Age of Water.
Players have dozens of hulls and hundreds of parts at their disposal, from which they can assemble anything from a simple boat to a 30-meter-long ship and equip it with equipment, armor and weapons. It is also important to assemble a suitable team of crew members that can man the guns and cannons or carry out other tasks on board. Also, the player can build his own naval base. Such a shelter is reliably protected from enemies, and you can initiate the production of everything the captain needs there.
Pirates are always lurking at sea, and players can not only destroy the enemy watercraft, but also capture them in battle and take permanent possession of them. In addition, it is possible to meet other players, interact with them, invite them to the team or help each other with quests. Players are also allowed to attack each other far from safe zones. In Age of Water, everyone can decide for themselves what their character will be today - a peaceful traveler or a bloodthirsty pirate.
We will of course keep you informed about further developments of Age of Water!
