BlizzCon returns after four-year hiatus

05/19/2023 - Blizzard Entertainment recently announced the return of BlizzCon, which is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center after a four-year hiatus.
After four years of gamers enjoying themselves online on the virtual battlefields of Azeroth, Overwatch, Sanctuary, and the Tavern, BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment's prestigious gaming event, will finally allow gamers to meet in person again. The company has announced that the event will take place on November 3 and 4 (Pacific Time) at the Anaheim Convention Center (Los Angeles, USA).
BlizzCon has always held a unique position in the world of gaming events. Here, the focus is on the players, and the games are the common denominator for bonding and friendship. Visitors can not only hang out with friends they usually only meet online, but also celebrate epic moments in beloved games, explore the diverse offerings in the halls of the convention center, and eagerly await the latest developments in the Blizzard universes.
Since its first edition in 2005, BlizzCon has attracted millions of fans worldwide. The event has established itself as a "mecca" of sorts for devotees of Blizzard games, with highlights including new game announcements, demonstrations, cosplay contests, and more.
Additional details about the event, including ticket information, cosplay and other contest details, are expected to be released next month. For those already looking to book accommodations, hotel blocks are now available.
Although BlizzCon is primarily a physical event, Blizzard has always made sure to include the online community as well. As such, organizers are excited to share their latest work with both fans attending in person and those participating online.
With this announcement, the countdown to BlizzCon 2023 begins, and although the last few years have been challenging for many, the return of BlizzCon seems to be a sign that the world of gaming is ready to come together again and celebrate together.
