Wargaming launches summer event with lots of beach and sun

08/09/2022 - Grab a pair of sunglasses and pack the beach towel, because this summer World of Tanks is hosting a huge 12th birthday beach party, and it's one that commanders can celebrate from the comfort of their own homes! Until the end of August, the Garage will become a place where players can relax.

From August 12-22, World of Tanks will celebrate its 12th anniversary with special missions, various rewards, and anniversary coins that can be traded in for valuable in-game goodies and unique customization items.

Any commander can log into the game on any day of the birthday event from August 12-22 and receive the free "Only Twelve" 2D style. In addition, players who log in for the first time on the day of the event will receive one day of premium account (up to seven days of premium account total).

Each daily mission earns five anniversary coins that can be exchanged for bonds, personal reserves, crew members, premium account, camouflage, fun customization options and other valuable items in the special section of the in-game store. For great missions, there are 20 anniversary coins each in addition to the rewards.

As an additional gift, players who complete three daily missions will receive the Lago M/38, a brand-new, fast-firing Level III Swedish premium tank.

"Look for great discounts on explorable vehicles, customization items, equipment, consumables, conversion of free XP and crew XP, and more. On certain days, commanders can expect x2 and even x5 XP multipliers for the first win on any vehicle. World of Tanks is running hot again this summer!", says Uriy Kuryavyi, Publishing Director of World of Tanks.
