The game was announced back in November 2022 under the name War Thunder Edge, and since then it went through several stages of alpha testing, during which it received its final name - War Thunder Mobile. Progress made in the open beta will not be reset, and all unlocked vehicles will remain with players in the release version.

War Thunder Mobile inherits the most important features from War Thunder for PC and consoles - extensive co-op battles with legendary land, sea and air vehicles (such as the Il-2 from World War II or the Leopard from the Cold War), using physically correct flight and damage models. All tanks and aircraft look historically correct and have the same technical specifications. To effectively fight the enemy, players need to study the internal structure of the vehicles, the position of the main elements and crew members, as well as the armor. At the same time, the control of the game is comfortable and intuitive, so that everyone can quickly get used to War Thunder and start winning.

The new game focuses on the most interesting and famous models of tanks, ships and aircraft of all eras - and already at the beginning of the open beta there are more than 200 different models, including the battleship Yamato, which is not yet seen in the original War Thunder. In addition, there are also submarines in the naval battles, and more content and new mechanics are possible for War Thunder Mobile in the future. Finally, the research system designed specifically for War Thunder Mobile will allow players to easily try out different vehicles from different countries - such as the legendary German Tiger II tanks and the modern American M3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, and after the upcoming updates the game will also feature the Abrams tank.

The APK of the game is downloadable from the official website of the game(wtmobile.com). We could also already find the game in the Google Play Store, where only pre-registration is currently available, though.
