In Legends of Runeterra, you choose from 24 champion cards, each of which expands your deck with a mechanic reminiscent of their abilities in League of Legends. Champions enter battle as powerful cards ? and if you play skillfully, they level up and become even stronger.

Gain new abilities to destroy your opponents. Turn the tide with a clever combo. Or break the rules and find a new way to win.

Your deck is built around champions ? but if you want to destroy your opponent's Nexus, you need a team. Find allies who support your champion's strategy, level up quickly and take control.

There are many supporting cards to choose from. Many familiar faces await you, as well as a few new ones. Each character and each card comes from a region of Runeterra. At the beginning, you have maps from six regions to choose from: Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zhaun, Ionia and the Shadow Isles.

Each region has its own playstyle and strategic advantages, but it's when you combine two regions that things get really interesting. There's a deck for every playstyle ? but it's up to you to find the right cards to win.

Many paths lead to victory. How you build your deck is up to you ? and how you get your cards is entirely up to you. Expeditions will soon be waiting for you to put together a new deck.
