Welcome, friends, to The Battle of Polytopia, a unique turn-based strategy game set in a mysterious land of fantastic tribes, clever technology and enchanting magic, where there is only one goal: to rule the world (that goes without saying!).

This is Square, the bizarre home planet of the Polytopians, a flat, square landmass floating through the space of another dimension. Polytopians are a rather curious and pugnacious people, divided into 15 tribes. Each of these tribes lives somewhere else on the square has its own unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. As a player, you slip into the role of the leader of one of these tribes and try to build your civilization in competition with other tribes.

Do you choose the Xin-Xi, the reserved yet adventurous traditionalists who dislike change and strangers? Maybe the Hoodrick, who love archery, nature as well as mushrooms and are famous for their baking skills! Or the Bardur, whose favorite place is the tavern around the corner, where they enjoy their favorite drink, Ullefurgh: a delicious mix of pine needles, hot water and rabbit fat. Leeeecker!

But beware of the Vengir: these warriors ride purple rhino pigs and love to sharpen their swords and vacation in the Kithkga graveyard between their raids. You really don`t want to mess with them.
