End of Alpha Phase
06/29/2023 - Kakao Games is pleased to announce that Eternal Return is officially leaving Early Access this July. Eternal Return - available in Early Access since October 2020 - pits players against each other in a special multiplayer online arena.
Participants will be encouraged to use different battle strategies and an expanding selection of characters before hopefully achieving victory - as the last survivor. With up to 50,000 concurrent players during its "Early Access" phase, Eternal Return received great feedback and was awarded the "Popular Game Award" at the "Korea Game Awards 2021".
Eternal Return 1.0 follows 70 major updates and 9 seasons of increasing content, making now a perfect starting point for new players or returnees who want to check out everything new.
The entire experience was built from the ground up to ensure that would be as optimized as possible and the transition from Early Access as smooth as possible. Originally, players had to learn how to climb a rope or scale a wall, with some areas already destroyed or "fallen". In 1.0, this is much easier.
In addition to the new features, players can also earn a host of new cosmetic extras from June 28 to July 17, including:
- 4 emotes
- "Midnight Aurora Rio" skin
- "Dr. Nadja" icons
- "Dr. Nadja" background
- "Dr. Nadja" frame
