Game description

The sound of the sea, white sandy beach and sun! On a small island - somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea - an advanced civilization of antiquity emerges. Under your leadership begins an age of discovery and prosperity. Welcome to Ikariam.

In Ikariam you own at the beginning only a barely cultivated piece of fertile land on a green coastal strip. Can you turn it into a thriving metropolis and capital of a mighty island empire? These pages will give you an overview of your way there.

Scattered across the islands of the world are five raw materials: building materials, wine, marble, crystal glass and sulfur.

During the game you will definitely need a lot of timber - divide workers to gain wood, and expand with the other players on your island the raw material supply!

After you have taken care of the raw material supply, you can start to develop your city.

1. An academy will allow you to make many fantastic discoveries.
2. With a barracks you can start to train troops.
3. The construction of a trading port and the associated trading ships will allow you to trade raw materials with other players.
